Recount Writting

Did you watch the Tonga vs Kiwis game at Hamilton last week on Saturday? It seemed the Tonga team was the favourites to win the game as we saw a sea of red around the Stadium. In the first half the Kiwis was leading by 16-2, but that all changed in the second half where the Tonga team made a strong comeback by scoring 4 quick tries to secure they win, creating a great surprise to everyone. The Tonga team now progress through to the quarter-finals against Lebanon in Christchurch this Saturday while the Kiwis will face Fiji in Wellington. The team’s that I want to win the Rugby League cup is Kiwis or Toa Samoa.

Reflection

Last Term for extension we had a task to make a game show or make a musical instrument on Scratch with Makey-Makey and my group decided to make a game show. We had to all partner up into groups of 3 to 4 people and my group was: Alisha, Danielle and Ana, and today we hd to do a reflection of our experience.

The first thing we had to do was make up questions and search for the answer online. The next step we had to do was hook up the Makey-Makey kit on the computer, start coding the sounds and the backgrounds and we had to get Play-doh for our buzzers. In our group we all had different jobs to do, my job was to help Alisha hook up the wires and coding. The last step we had to do was test out everything with Zoey from OMG Tech and everything went smoothly.

When we presented our game we had two volunteers who were Talita and Simon. They each knew a few questions but at the end it all ended in a tie. Our group were very proud of our game and we were also proud of working together to finish of this Game for Term 3, and this task has helped me improve my knowledge for Makey-Makey.
