This morning was a existing day because today is when Point England school is going to Hoyts at Sylvia Park to watch movies on a big screen.I was so excited because we got to watch your movie.When we got there I settled down in my comfy chair,but the last thing that we needed was a bucket of popcorn.

Last Thursday Pt England school had a cross country race.The whole school was gathered together on the rocky concrete so the  races could begin.

All of the house captains jumped in front of the kids and did they team cheers.

As soon  as the clapper went off, I bolted across the starting line.The sun was so hot that little beads of sweat were dropping into eyes.

I felt like a champion when I crossed the finish line and never gave up.

Goldilocks and the three bears

I have been learning to write complete sentences, add details, and change the beginnings of my sentences. This is a story about Goldilocks. I have not finished it yet but this is what I have done so far.

One summer day,I was sitting on my swing in my backyard enjoying a good book.After a while I went for a little walk around the yard and noticed a bunny hole. Inside was a  little fluffy creature.When I saw it, it hopped towards the deep dark woods. I chased after it. I stopped in front of an old tree and suddenly realised that I was lost.

After wandering around for a bit longer, I smelled a lovely smell coming from a tiny cottage. I pushed through the leaves and skipped towards the front door. Inside there were three bowls of oatmeal porridge topped with heaps of brown sugar. I knocked on the door but no one came so I opened it and shouted “Is anybody home?” Nobody answered. I took a big spoonful from the first bowl but it was too hot. I  took a little spoonful from the next bowl but it was too cold. Lastly, I tasted the last bowl and it was just right so I gobbled it all up. “Burp” When I finished eating that delicious porridge with

I am a brown, furry little weasel and one night when I went hunting with my family, my sister saw a fat rabbit. The  rabbit saw my family we creeped closer and closer when I jumped and bit him at the back of it ear. When some people saw us we saw a trap the people chased us all the way to a deep dark,stormy woods where we lived.

The velvet worm

When the velvet worm is very hungry, it looks for a cricket. After the worm finds it, it uses its two nozzles to shoot sticky glue which traps its prey. Then the worm sinks it teeth into the cricket and gobbles it all up. Yum Yum!

If you go into the woods late at night you need to watch where you step. Under green leafs on the forest floor you will find a unusual creature called a velvet worm. And the velvet worm his tiny bumps,soft stumpy legs.

On the school holiday I went to see Alice in wonderland at ABC ground. Before we got there we stopped at the shops to get popcorn,drinks, chips and  lollies  to eat at the show. Of Alice in  wonderland when we got there we needed to find some chairs to sit on. And it was a amazing show ever. after the show when my aunty said it was time to go home I raced to the car.Because I wanted to go home as fast as we could. When we got to my house I knocked on my door my dad came and opened the door for us when I got inside.When took my two balls and I played with glennes and her big sister and it was so fun when my aunty said it time to go. My best part was when I watched Alice in wonderland.

Swimming

When Miss Walters said it was time to go swimming I rushed into the girls toilet to get changed. I was so excited! We got to the pools and had to have a cold shower. It was so chilly that I thought my toes would freeze into little ice cubes and fall right off! I really hope that at the end of our lessons,  I'll be able to swim like an amazing angle fish. Today was a terrific day.ay in my life and I can't wait for our next trip to the pool!
