Problem Solving

We are learning to solve maths problems.

Carol has 18 books to put back on the library Shelf. If she has 6 left on the deck, how many boooks has she put away?

    Hi Sheena,

    What a good problem to solve! Carol has put away 12 books so far.

    18 - 6 = 12

    If Carol has 18 books away and has 6 left to go that would mean she has put 12 away so far.
