Why Do people need water?
WALT - Plan for a piece of explanation writing.
Today I am going to explain and write about why humans need water in their lives. And what does it do to our bodies.
Humans need to drink water to survive. Your body is about 60 percent water, our brains are 70 percent water, and our lungs are about 90 percent water.
The other reason why we need water for us to survive is that if you don’t drink enough water, you will become dehydrated, making lower blood volume and drop in blood pressure, confusion, fainting, and possible death.
But some times if you drink way too much water you can get water intoxication. Water intoxication is when the electrolyte balance goes off normal, impairing the functioning the brain and also cause death. (That’s why don’t drink too much water)
Here are some facts about water:
1.Unsafe water kill 200 children every hour
2.780 million people lack access to an improved water source
3. By 2025 half the world’s people will live in countries with high water stress
4.Over 90% of the world’s supply of fresh water is located in Antarctica
5.There is more fresh water in the atmosphere than in all of the rivers on the planet combined
So this is my little story about why people need water need to survive. I hope you liked my story.
