Today the Exponents learned different strategies to solve number problems and number problems:
548+845=1429
5+8=13
84+45=129

Then I added the one that's in the 129 to the 13 then it made 1429,and this strategy is called adding the tens and the ones.

One thing that I learned from this story is that if you miss a bus then try and run after it,but when you get to every bus stop and the bus keeps on going then there's only one thing that you have to do walk to the place you want to go,and the thing that's great about it you save money.

Junk

Walt: Order and retell the story again in your own words.

This is the story about a boy that wanted to buy a trolley by his mum and dad said it was to expensive so they decide to build the trolley but when they got started they found a old pram with wheels that could fit with the trolley but mum wanted things that's was on the right side of the doorway. But when they turned the pram around the wheels fell off and they decide to use the wheels. When it was dinner time mum asked dad to get the old pram so she can go and fix the it,then dad said "sure".When it was morning mum went to the market but when she was there she found a note that dad putted on the note board, and when mum got home she asked dad what had happen to the pram, and dad said "we were looking through the junk then we found the pram and the wheels so we decide to use it"."Got-cha" said mum,I already knew that you used the pram's wheels. So you knew all this time that we used the pram's wheels."Yes",

Living on a farm

Walt: Add detail to the end of sentences.
Growing up on the countryside can be really hard work because you have to feed the animals everyday and getting machines ready to produce milk, and we are looking forward to dairy farms in New Zealand.

If I was raised on a farm the first thing that I would like to do is going for a ride on a motorbike because if you live in the city you can’t ride a motorbike around because you are not old enough.

The next thing that I would do if I lived on a farm would be getting free milk so I can give it to the little calves that doesn't have a mum.

Why wasn’t I born in the country? After school there would be so many things to do like feeding calves, chickens and pigs, and riding bikes and horses. I think country kids are very lucky!
