Sheena Application

Talofa lava,my name is Sheena I am 10 years old. I would love to be a year 6 ambassador for 2016. I think I’m the perfect person for this job because I am kind and honest.(For example my learning is here)

                                    What I’ve Learned:

One thing that I enjoyed learning this year is learning about native animals. For a example a Kiwi. Did you know that a kiwi is native to New Zealand.  It’s habitat is in the native forest of New Zealand.The kiwi is the only bird that has nostrils on the end of it’s beak to sniff for food on the ground.Kiwi’s eat invertebrates like grubs,worms and snails.

                                             Conclusion:

If I was an ambassador for 2016 I promise to make my school proud and my family proud too.

Today I wrote a Limrick poem the first,second and fifth line must Rhyme,and the third and forth line must rhyme too,and it all needs the same syllables like 8 or 9 and 5 or 6.

 Today we are learning about Food Chains.One fact that I know is that it goes threw plants then to animals then it goes to a animals that eat other animals.

Guess what? This morning Miss Lavakula’s literacy class played a silly eating competition game.Before the game began I felt really hungry and I couldn’t wait to gobble everything up.

If you want to know how to play this silly game then you have to buddy up with someone.Once you have decide between your partner that who is going to eat the yummy food and who is going to help you eat it,then you have to get a box of Weetbix and a can of cream then you can start the game.Oh,and watch out because the food might be yuk.

After the other children's turn it was me and Dekorah’s turn.When Miss Lavakula counted down to zero Dekorah picked up the Weetbix on the white plastic plate,and she stuffed it into my mouth.Once I finished eating that yuk Weetbix,Dekorah forced me to eat the apple that was next to the plate and forced to eat it but I couldn’t because I was swallowing the yuk Weetbix.

I think that my favourite part was when Dekorah was eating like a real baby when I was feeding her.But the worst part of the game was when Dekorah forced me to eat the apple,when I was trying to eat the Weetbix with expired cream.I also wish that next time we don’t play a silly food competition game ever again because the food might be yuk,and it might also be expired.

When the game finished I felt sick because the cream was so yuk I almost puked,and when it’s breakfast time I’m never going to eat Weetbix with cream ever again.

My holidays highlights

Do you know what I did on the school holidays? Well,on the first week of my holiday I went with my mum to her work,South Pacific Loans in Mount Wellington...again.

The first thing that I did on the first week was going with my mum to her work South Pacific Loans when we arrived I decide to go on my tablet to play Minion rush and Rail rush.When I started Minion Rush I was supposed to get 500 bananas so I could go to the next level.”No” I didn’t pass the level and I had to start the level again.Finally,I passed the level and I had to start a new level, once I found out what I needed to do to get to the next level.  I needed to hit 25 minion’s when I’m running.

On the last week of the school holidays I went away with my cousin,Glennes and her family to

Mc Donald's. Once we arrived I decide to order a double cheeseburger and a frozen grape drink.While they were preparing the food,me and my cousin’s went to the playground and we played tac.After we finished playing tack it was time to eat and the food was so delicious that I wanted a another burger.

On the last day of my holidays I stayed home and watched the rugby world cup with my mum and dad. We watched the Samoa vs Scotland game. The points was 33 and 36 and the winners were ...Scotland,only if Samoa got a try they would have won or even a penalty kick.  My dad was so disppointed that he went outside in the middle of the night. Then when he came back in we all went to sleep.   

When the day finished I felt happy because I got to go with my mum to her work and I got to go to McDonalds.  I think my favourite part of my school holidays was when I went with my cousin’s to Mcdonald's and we got to play tak, and the one thing that I want to do next holiday is to go to   Rainbow’s End.
